Yeah..the truth is..and beware to those who are unaware: My name is David Mark Stashko! Yeah! Lucifer is a pseudonym! LOL. Yes, I know..its a name that I chose WAY back when I was just beginning in Penis Flytrap…well, I love that fake name, too. It always gets a smile from the horror fans ( like me ) because we all feel it means something. But yeah, my real name? My real life?
You can read about my recovery in “A Diary of Sobriety.” Its some horror, some romance, some other stuff..but basically its a year in the life of me as a recovering addict. And no, its not a self help book. Its a book about me helping myself with the help of 12 steps, a higher power and a sponsor.
Ewwww…not your cup of tea? Then by ALL MEANS, do not read it. It is meant for anyone else who might be able to relate with the struggles and successes of recovery from addiction that I have gone thru during my second year of being clean. Like the title says, its a diary of sobriety. So it includes a little of everything. UNCUT and REAL.
I will continue to write and share my diaries over the years, but I am also creating something that I call “Connections.” This book explores the most important elements of living healthy, happy and sane. That will come along later in the year or early 2013. Stay tuned.
Want a tell all book of my bad times? I bet you do. And you might just get it. But beware, if I choose to do this ( and more than a few people who know me want to see this book happen ) , it will be an eye opening experience.
What else?
“Samhain” is in production. The newest CD from my soul. Its all about horror, there! And yes, maybe one or two instrumental ballads. But its alive and kicking! Just give it a little time. I want to have it done and ready to slaughter around Halloween. I will have a few snippets for everyone to hear soon. I think the first thing you will hear is called “Devil’s Night.” That is a soundtrack type piece meant to send chills up your spine.

And yes! This weekend, April 7, I will be the official MC of the Dr. Macabre’s Movie and Musical Massacre being put on by The Flint Horror Con. Yeah! All hail the grand guignol! Check out the info on Facebook. I will tell you here that its at the Masonic Temple in Flint. The rest? You have to go and find it, blood brothers and sisters. It should be a blast of blood!
And the next weekend? Friday the 13th? I will be a married man. Yep. Sorry gals, I know how many of you are tearing up out there….LOL….maybe even some of the guys! Seriously tho, I am marrying my soul mate, splatter sister and terrifying woman of wicked wonder- Mz. Sarah Adams. The dead girl herself! It will be a private ceremony for now..but we intend to have an extravaganza later on for all of the ghastly ones! That means YOU! Wish me luck…wish us well…wish us love and horror!
