Author’s Note
This book is dedicated to- what else- the high holiday of Halloween! Why? Well, why the hell not? If you are anything like me, Halloween is to me what Christmas is to, say, everyone else that loves the summer, bubble gum and the color pink. Halloween has always been the best of all holidays since I was a wee lad. To the uninformed, it seems to be the day when kids get all dressed up and go out begging for candy. It’s a time for those who party, to party. It is also the second most popular holiday in the USA next to Christmas….and yaknowhat? Cool! All the better. It’s a hell of a lot of fun!
And then there are those who have dug deep and have come to understand that it means a whole lot more than that. It stands for something otherworldly and mysterious. It is more than a day, it is a way of life. It is an element of Horror that cannot be ignored. It is the time of the year when the shadows are long and the wind is chilled by something supernatural.
This is a very special time of the year, indeed.
So, this book is for you, the die-hard Halloweenite: Those that prefer the shadows and dance at the sight of the full moon. This book is for my true friends.
My true family.
Love,
Lucifer
